Lady Spartans Softball; Great Season!

The Lady Spartans Softball Team defeated Westminster yesterday by a score of 9-1 in 6 innings to finish their regular season at 13-10 and 5-1 in the region and the #2 seed.  Sarah Armstrong was the winning pitcher and also had a triple and scored a run.  Chaney Means had a hit that scored two runs, and Taylor Endres also had a single and an RBI.  Sierra Lawrence scored three runs and Chandler Alverson had a single.

The Lady Spartans begin their region tournament Thursday.  The region tournament will be held at GAC and Sandra Coan Field Thursday Oct. 1st, Saturday Oct. 3rd and then Monday, Tuesda, October 5th & 6th with the championship game on Thursday Oct. 8th.
